About Me
Amy is a young English actor and poet. She has recently graduated from University of Kent with MA Theatre Making and the University for the Creative Arts Farnham with BA(Hons)Acting and Performance. Amy is based in Dover but travels frequently to other parts of the UK. Amy Kemp-Jones
Amy has worked for Haven holidays, Park Dean Resorts and Butlins
During her time at University Amy studied under Simon Money (vocal coach), Gary Pillai, as well as studying Stanislavsky, Laban and a variety of physical theatre techniques.
Amy has a passion for disability inclusivity. She recently performed a poetry fusion solo performance; ‘The Wordless Wards' (2020, Dir. Amy Kemp-Jones). This 20 minute spoken word performance is an autobiographical performance about the struggle between budgets and results within the NHS.
During her time at UCA Amy took part in a variety of shows and films; including The Laramie project(2019,Dir.Mike Sherman). As well as this she did green screen work as an extra on the Disney film Christopher Robin.
Amy has lead event management of theatre festivals and worked as scare actor for companies such as Scream-land.
